Steve Jobs's speech

Steve Jobs, who is CEO working in Apple and Fixar Animation. He states three real stories about himself at graduation the Stanford Graduation ceremony.
"Never give up" is easy to say; however, it is hard to do. Before I came to Canada, I gave up to attending the most important test which was the final test in high school. I gave up because I have not enough brave to facing my future. When I wanted to avoid it, I also lost opportunity to challenging myself.
Maybe thirty years ago, China has cultural revolution. By the government rules, most young chinese people who graduate from high school, had to leave their hometown and went to countryside to study how to cultivate because chinese government canceled this test for ten years, most young people lose chance to entering the university. Ten years later, chinese govenment resumed this test. Most people wanted to attending this test even though some people already had a job.
Entering the university is very important to chinese because it helps you to make a decision about your owe future. Although entering the university is not only choice to high school students, chinese maketing needs those people who have high degrees because China is developing.
After I came to Canada, I often told myself "never give up" because I don't want to play the same mistake again. I believe all of things I can do as well as outstanding person although nobody helps me. After I heard the third story about Steve Jobs, I learned "never give up". I felt shame to myself because I am a healthy person, but I have not enough courage to face the problem. However, he done it.
No matter what will we encounter, we should tell ourselves "never give up".

How much is enough?

Two weeks ago, Tina , selena and I attended the discussion. The topic of this discussion is "How much is enough?". The leader divided this topic to two parts. One is "How much money is enough?" and "How much love is enough?"
Someone said she didn't care about how much money she has because she more focus on the love. Money cannot buy everything, such as the real love.
Someone metioned that everyone is desire to money because money can makes people live a wonderful life. Money can buy something which you want.
As far as I am concerned, I will say money is never enough to me. If I win the lottery, I will use the money to invest or donation. Investing is challenging to me because I love advanture. Even though we have a lot of money, we should go to work because money is easy come and easy go. Compare to love, I think family love and friendship are more important than money. Earning money seems endless. We should enjoy the time with our family members and friends but time is momently.

What is the best age to get marry?

Last week, Tina, Selena and I went to the discussion which the topic is "what is the best age to get marry?". Actually, I alreay thought about this question before we went to there, but I cannot figure out.
Different people has different views. I still remember two views which are come from others.
Someone explained that she don't want to get marry because she very enjoy this relationship between her and her boyfriend. If the couple really love each other, they don't care get marry or not because people getting marry just is a kind of ceremonial and she more focus on the feeling when they get together.
Someone said he would thinking about this question when he has ability to take care of the whole family because man has this duty.
Most people agree that they want to get marry around 26 years old.
In my opinion,those views are makes me think deeply because their views are reasonable. My father mentioned that he hopes me get marry when my future boyfriend and I have enough economic ability. However, I think that it is radiculous in that time. Can you inmagine how old we are? I don't want it. Now, I change my mind and I agree myfather's view because we are young; if we get marry earlier, we have not enough ability to getting babies and take care of them.

Anna and I attended to the workshop. The teacher taught us how to take the notes, but I still felt difficult to taking notes when I heard the lecture which was recorded. There are five methods to taking notes, such as cornell, outlining, mapping, charting and sentence. The teacher said she always use cornell method because this way not only is suit for herself, but also it helps her to review and remenber easier.
As far as I am concerned, I love to use mapping, charting and sentence. Mapping is easier to draw and understand; charting is useful to organizing, especially to history; sentence, which is you only put abbreviates or symbols in your notes, but you should organize in time because you will forget it quickly.
Listening the lecture is difficult to us because we are not English speaker, and we are learning. I am worry about my future classes because there are a lot of new words for me and I am difficult to catch the main idae. All in all, I only have one way which is try to practise more, to improve my English.

Who influence me most?

If you ask me who influence me most, i will tell you that it is my father.
My father not only brings home the bacon(idiom. the person who supports the family financially), but also he should take care of the whole family. Maybe you will say every father can do that, but i can tell you something what did he do to me.I still remember what happened.
Before i came to here,
my father told me:
"Now, you will leave our for a long time. Remenber, whatever you do, you should do it by yourself. You will learn how to take care of youself, how to live a life and how to solve problems by yourself. I hope you can think all of problems before it happened because it can helps you have more confidence to overcome it. You are not alone, your mother and i will support you, wherever we are."

After i came here,
he send his dairy to me. It mentions to me:
"My daughter leave us. I am very worried about her. Suddenly, i understand my mother 's feeling when i left her and worked in other places. I miss our daughter when i go back home and i cannot find her in our home. I am not a good father. As my father, I cannot take care of my family as well as others, but we hope her life will more wonderful than us. "

I love my father very much because i can learn a lot from my father. In studying, he teaches me knowledge and encourages me to be more confident; In life, he teaches me how to make friends and recognize people.
I hope all of people love their parents.
